Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate functional, regression, API and integration test cases.
  • Perform REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborate with development, QA and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar).
  • Ensure testing is aligned with Agile/DevOps principles and shift-left testing strategies.
  • Conduct performance, compatibility and reliability testing where applicable.
  • Write and review test plans, test cases and test scripts for coverage and traceability.
  • Support DevOps testing by automating infrastructure validation, smoke testing in cloud deployments and monitoring pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews, root cause analysis and continuous improvement discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
