Project Quality Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Project Quality Engineer to ensure the excellence of our projects.

This role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to guarantee that our projects meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Represent customers within projects ensuring their expectations are met in project quality plans
  • Verify customer expectations against project quality plans
  • Participate in project reviews to ensure final statements align with project status
  • Conduct QSE2 audits on project management activities
  • Represent AKWEL for quality matters with internal and external suppliers
  • Verify supplier requirements are met
  • Stop sourcing committee process if requirements are not satisfied
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Plastic/Production)
  • 5 years experience in Tier 1 supplier in Automotive industry
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of project development phases, APQP, PPAP, and related standards
Technical Knowledge:
  • Project Development phases, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Functional Analysis and design FMEA
  • Risk assessment and process FMEA
  • Control Plan and special characteristics, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • 8D problem solving and QRQC approach
  • QSE2 audit standards
Professional Abilities:
  • Autonomy, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills
  • Synthetic and analytical thinking, integrity, rigor, and tenacity
  • Oral and written competencies; ability to communicate quality standpoint
  • Good IT skills
  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of other languages recommended
