Job Title: Senior Data Analytics Specialist

In this role, you will play a critical part in the migration of enterprise data solutions from SAP HANA to Snowflake. This involves utilizing expertise in data analytics platforms, particularly SAP HANA and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and identify the analytics and reporting requirements.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies of the requirements, analyzing and assessing their implications.
  3. Work with the capabilities team to Identify the source systems, source data set, source tables needed to fulfill the requirements.
  4. Convert functional requirements to technical solutions, developing detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design documents.
  5. Collaborate with data modelers and data engineers to develop the technical solution.
  6. Perform unit testing of the solution, ensuring its functionality and performance.
  7. Support business teams during user acceptance testing.
  8. Facilitate communication between business and IT stakeholders.
  9. Support deployment of the technical solution to production, identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  10. Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance in the new Snowflake environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain business processes.
  • Experience working on analytics-related projects and implementations.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to identify relationships between data sets.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms and knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI.
