Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Chennai, India.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and update financial records for companies in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries that provide valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and receipt of funds.
  • Use accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
