Job Overview

This is a senior academic leadership position responsible for driving the strategic direction of our BCA program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of academic strategies to enhance student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative learning environment and manage departmental staff to ensure efficient operation.
  • Represent the program at college/university events, industry conferences, and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Ph.D. / NET / SET preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience teaching computer applications at the undergraduate level.
  • Prior leadership experience in higher education (HOD, Dean, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in computer applications education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Developing and implementing effective educational technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Collaborating with industry partners to provide students with real-world experiences and projects.
  • Staying current with the latest advancements in computer applications and educational pedagogy.

In addition, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students and faculty to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our BCA program and ensuring its continued relevance and success in the industry.
