Job Description

As a seasoned professional in product costing, you will be responsible for performing zero-based cost of trim commodity components. This includes exterior and interior trims, soft trims, and plastic fuel tanks.

Key deliverables include detailed cost estimation, business case estimation, cost matrix preparation, and cost monitoring walkthrough from business case to launch of vehicle.

  • Exterior Trim: Bumpers, Claddings, Spoilers, Roof Rails, Footsteps
  • Interior Trim: Cockpit/ Instrument Panel, Door Trim, Floor Console
  • Soft Trims: Headliner, Carpets, Sunvisor, NVH Acoustic Parts
  • Plastic Fuel Tanks and DEF Tank, for Automotives (PV and CV) and Tractors in line with Norms and Guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Should have experience in understanding Product Drawings/ 3D CAD data, Team Center, Bill Of Material Interpretation, Mold Specifications and Process Specifications
  • Experience in MHR Calculation
  • Awareness of Industry Standards regarding Interest Rates, Labour Rates, Power Rates, Land Rates across Demographics in India
  • Background in either Product Costing/ Product Development/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Business Development
  • Understanding of Color, Material, Finishes and Polymer Raw Materials and Manufacturing Processes
