Job Overview

A senior-level accountant position is available for a highly experienced professional with expertise in public accounting and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage audit and review engagements, plan testing procedures, prepare work paper documentation, and lead projects to completion.
  • Prepare tax returns for clients using tax software.
  • Produce high-quality financial statements and tax returns, taking ownership of their preparation and delivery to clients.
  • Build strong client relationships, communicating effectively to obtain necessary documents and ensure engagement deliverables are complete and accurate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience working in a public accounting firm.
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior or supervisor role at a public accounting firm.
  • 5+ years of audit experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant License.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities to meet client deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement and CCH ProSystem Fx Tax software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
