Job Title: Civil Engineer- Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer and Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a linear railway project. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take on a key role in the delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Bill of Quantities: Develop detailed and accurate BOQs for various project components, including buildings, retaining walls, roads, and boundary walls.
  • Cost Estimation and Management: Monitor and manage project quantities by comparing design quantities with tender and suggesting measures to improve.
  • Tender Documentation: Evaluate tender submissions and provide recommendations based on quantities and compliance with project requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with the design team to ensure timely implementation of tender project specifications and timelines.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management, preferably in railway or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in using quantity surveying and project management software.
