Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Architect to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will also be responsible for developing processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ML algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and time series analysis. They will also have expertise in programming languages such as Python and experience with full-stack web development frameworks like Flask and Panel.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark, as well as hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS and data orchestration tools like Github.

Key Skills

- Strong understanding of ML algorithms and techniques: supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning. Good knowledge in Time Series Analysis and NLP.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python. Must be an expert in writing ML code.
- Working experience with full-stack web development (Flask, Panel).
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark.
- Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art ML and DL as applied to large-scale datasets.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLTK).
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. Strong Math background.
- Solid understanding of feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS).
- Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools and CI/CD (Github).
- Expert in deploying and monitoring ML models.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
