Business Development Manager Job Description

A key player in our organization's success, the Business Development Manager is responsible for promoting MSME loan products to business owners and entrepreneurs, ensuring customer needs are met with tailored loan solutions.

Sales & Promotion Strategies:

  • Diligently identify and target potential small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for MSME loan offerings.
  • Proactively promote MSME loan products to business owners and entrepreneurs, highlighting their benefits and value proposition.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable loan solutions based on their business needs.

Customer Engagement:

  • Maintain regular communication with business owners and key decision-makers to assess their financing needs and provide expert guidance.
  • Clearly explain the features, benefits, interest rates, and repayment options of MSME loans to clients, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Effectively assist customers in completing loan applications and the necessary documentation for loan approval.

Performance Metrics:

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets as set by management, driving business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Regularly track sales activities, customer interactions, and lead progress, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.

Compliance & Governance:

  • E nsure all loan applications, documentation, and processes adhere to company policies, banking regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in the MSME sector, providing valuable feedback to management on market conditions and opportunities.

Requirements:
Education: Graduate
Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in MSME loans, commercial banking, or financial products.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to analyze customer financials and recommend appropriate loan products. Understanding of MSME business challenges and financial needs.
