Job Opportunity:

Lead Database Administrator

The successful candidate will lead a team of DBAs to ensure high-performance and reliability in our database environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for production environments with 7+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Deeply understand PostgreSQL internals, architecture, and tuning to ensure optimal performance.
  • Proven expertise with HA and replication solutions using Patroni and repmgr.
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerts using automation tools.
  • Diagnose and recover from cluster corruption using advanced tools and procedures.
  • Plan and execute major upgrades with minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Strong understanding of database security and compliance best practices.
  • Mentor junior DBAs and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Manage MySQL users, roles, and permissions as secondary responsibilities.
