Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions.

• Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) and prototyping of cloud solutions using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Define integration design and security design for web services and enterprise component development using RESTful APIs.
• Work on networking and security topics as an AWS Cloud Administrator, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Manage storage using AWS Storage Services, including S3 and EBS.
• Work extensively on Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS), deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Create and manage Docker images, leveraging Docker Compose and Kubernetes.
• Perform cloud cost analysis, estimations, and apply best practices to optimize resource utilization.
• Manage Kubernetes system services and worker nodes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Work with database administration and DBMS, including Postgres and Redis.
• Create documentation and design documents, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
• Provide estimates for requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with senior architecture groups, collaborate with internal technology teams, and contribute to internal initiatives.
• Have good understanding of Kubernetes API and client libraries, including Postgres, Redis, and Prometheus.
• Be proficient in infrastructure as code concepts, using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding and ability to program independently.
• Must have AWS Cloud certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Strong Linux/UNIX experience, including shell scripting and command-line tools.
• Hands-on experience in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience in AWS cloud platforms across a wide range of services, including compute, storage, and databases.
• Experience in implementing AWS cloud security, including IAM and Cognito.
• Experience using Postgres databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management.
• Experience with network access control lists, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail.
• Ability to design highly available and/or fault-tolerant architectures, ensuring high uptime and reliability.
• Experience with open-source technologies and tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes, including container orchestration and service mesh.
• Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
• Experience with Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes, including deployment and management.
• Experience working with scripting languages, including YAML and JSON.
• Experience with stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments.
• Working experience with AWS and Kubernetes API, including SDKs and CLI tools.
• Experience with reporting and analysis tools for cloud platforms, including monitoring and logging.
• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines from scratch, including automation and deployment.
