Job Description

Airport Council seeks a Public Policy Lead to develop policy positions that align with our customers' needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government policies, research, and analytical skills. They will maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders to advance Airtel's objectives.

This position involves:

  1. Maintaining and developing relationships with policymakers and stakeholders to advance Airtel's policy objectives.
  2. Leading advocacy and representation efforts across industry associations, think tanks, and collective forums.
  3. Identifying new and emerging policy issues and developing well-researched policy positions and recommendations.
  4. Engaging with think tanks, civil society organizations, and academia to shape important policy developments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Leading advocacy and representation efforts.
  • Identifying emerging policy issues and developing policy positions.
  • Engaging with think tanks, civil society organizations, and academia.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Business, or International Affairs.
  • Minimum 3-6 years' experience working with government, think tanks, public interest groups, or corporate public policy.
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with industry associations and advocacy platforms.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
