Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, including creating purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, and resolving conflicts and issues that arise during the procurement process.
- Manage the procurement process, including creating purchase requisitions and managing purchase orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Effectively manage and resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the procurement process.
- Strong technical skill set in buying, including creation of purchase requisitions and management of purchase orders.
- Good understanding of sales orders and procurement processes.
- Experience in monitoring and managing supplier information and master data related to procurement.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as JDE, SAP, and Ariba.
- Ability to create PRs and POs, reconcile purchase orders, and research and resolve order exceptions.
The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, analytical skills, and be able to conduct root cause analysis. Significant exposure to IT tools for supply chain planning and a good understanding of the supply chain for the oil and gas or energy services industry is highly desirable.
