Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and data analysis
  • Lead and contribute to the creation of high-quality research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources
  • Oversee projects and discussions, including planning, budget management, and coordination responsibilities
  • Establish a network of industry participants and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
  • Search and review published literature on a research topic
  • Supervise undergraduate project interns or other personnel on research-related tasks
  • Assist with manuscript or grant development
  • Prepare reports or presentations
  • Organize events, seminars, and workshops
  • Modulate academic discussions and policy dialogues

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A master's degree in a relevant field, including engineering or energy economics
  • A PhD in a given domain is an added advantage
  • 13+ years of work experience
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Desirable: Econometric Models, Energy and/or Economic Model
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and research software
  • Ability to work/lead as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple research projects
  • Strong relationship skills and team ethics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Authored at least 2 scholarly research publications and/or multiple op-eds during the last five years
  • Ability to adapt to new environment and deliver under tight deadlines in a professional environment
  • Ability to effectively work in a team while being able to independently drive research with minimum assistance when time demands
  • Willingsness to travel for research and stakeholder engagement
