Space Quality Assurance Specialist

Azista Aerospace, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is collaborating with Berlin Space Technologies to create a cutting-edge production facility for small satellites. This joint venture aims to revolutionize the industry by making high-quality satellite production accessible on a larger scale.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of our space-grade components and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards to meet international requirements.
- Participate in design reviews to embed quality requirements.
- Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.
- Support risk management and failure mode analysis.
- Quality Control:
- Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products.
- Monitor and verify compliance with test procedures and documentations.
- Coordinate environmental testing and review results.
- Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in QA roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
- Familiarity with international standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools and test equipment.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with satellite subsystems (e.g., Reaction Wheel, Battery, EPS, CDH).
- Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
- Exposure to cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling.
- Certification/Knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
