Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

About the Role:

As a Data Insights Specialist, you will be working closely with our cross-functional teams to drive business decisions using data. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform our product development, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process large datasets from various sources, including internal systems and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract relevant data for analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines that meet the needs of the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data science and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on data processes and procedures to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Participate in agile project planning and estimation, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Continuously improve data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with big data tools and technologies, such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases.
