Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Product Innovation Expert to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering innovative mechanical design solutions from concept to production for our multi-gas sensor products.

Your primary focus will be on designing complete sensor systems, including housings, gas flow architecture, simulation chambers, control units, and portable instruments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration and optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost across diverse environmental conditions.

In this role, you will conduct simulations, tolerance analysis, and failure assessments. You will also select materials and finishes compatible with gas sensing applications, support regulatory documentation, and interface with suppliers.

Additionally, you will contribute to technical documentation and datasheet creation, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in mechanical/product design with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design.
  • Member of a Formula One Student Team, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and expertise in CAD tools, with experience in injection moulding, CNC-based metallic enclosures, and NPT/BSP/BSPT threads.
  • Knowledge of DFM principles and product rollout lifecycle, with bonus skills in understanding electronics, chemistry, sensors, and packaging.
