Backend Developer Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated backend developer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python.

This freelance/part-time opportunity involves working alongside top developers in the industry, reporting into experienced developers with 10+ years of development experience, and collaborating with Fortune 500 companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python.
  • Object-Oriented Programming: Apply object-oriented programming principles to create modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • System Architecture: Contribute to system architecture and design discussions for scalable solutions.
  • Data Structures and Algorithms: Implement and optimize data structures and algorithms to enhance system performance.
  • Database Management: Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient queries and optimized storage.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Coding Standards: Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Object-Oriented Concepts: Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
  • System Design: Experience with system design and architectural principles.
  • Data Structures: Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Database Design: Proficiency in database design, optimization, and query writing (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Development Best Practices: Familiarity with software development best practices, Git, and Agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
