Accounting Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Ensure the accuracy and transparency of monthly bank reconciliations and other critical accounting functions.
- Merchant Fee Management: Reconcile and post merchant fee statements in a timely manner.
- Third-Party Payment Processing: Reconcile third-party payment processor statements to maintain financial integrity.
- Document Management: File and record documents and receipts with attention to detail.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
- An Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Field is preferred if additional to CA qualification.
- A High school diploma or equivalent certification is also required.
Skill Set
- Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- QuickBooks: Experience with QuickBooks is strongly preferred.
Work Environment
- This is a remote position aligned to USA working hours.
