We are seeking a skilled Creative Visionary to join our team at Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing our project visions to life in Unity. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, along with a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D Models and Textures: Utilize expertise in Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max to create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials that align with the artistic vision of our projects.
  • Implement Animations: Design and implement character animations, environmental effects, and other dynamic visual elements to enhance the overall gaming experience.
  • Leverage Lighting and Rendering Techniques: Develop and fine-tune lighting setups, shaders, and rendering pipelines to achieve the desired visual style and performance.
  • Optimize Assets and Scenes: Ensure optimal performance by optimizing assets and scenes for various platforms, including mobile, PC, and consoles.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to integrate visual content into Unity, troubleshoot issues, and refine the final product.
  • Prototyping and Documentation: Create prototypes and maintain documentation of assets, workflows, and processes to ensure consistency and streamline future development.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Artistic Skills: Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including composition, color theory, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in 3D Software: Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
  • Familiarity with Unity: Familiarity with using the Unity engine for creating 3D assets, animations, and effects.
  • Animation Experience: Experience with character rigging, animation, and visual effects.
  • UI/UX Design Knowledge: Knowledge of UI design principles and experience in creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Optimization Techniques: Familiarity with optimization techniques for mobile and other platforms.
  • Team Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate ideas clearly, and take feedback constructively.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality visual content.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing Unity projects and artistic skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Game Development Experience: Prior experience in game development and knowledge of game production pipelines.
  • Scripting Knowledge: Basic understanding of scripting in C# within Unity for creating interactive elements and tools.
  • AR/VR Experience: Experience developing content for augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) platforms.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Knowledge of developing and optimizing content for multiple platforms, including mobile, PC, and consoles.
  • Beyond Standard Requirements: Experience with ship building, human-machine interfaces, or design to virtual prototyping.
