Job Overview:

Backend Engineering Manager
  • Manage a high-performing backend engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and develop engineering staff.
  • Successfully run performance appraisal cycles with structured feedback and progression planning.

Technical Leadership:

  • Champion observability, monitoring and reliability across backend services.
  • Continuously improve system performance, scalability and resilience.
Requirements:
  • 9+ years of experience in backend technologies.
  • 2–3 years as an Engineering Manager, leading teams and driving delivery.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Golang and Python.
  • Proven track record with high-scale systems.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
