Backend Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.

You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to craft core backend systems that power our applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Service Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js with frameworks like Fastify and Express.
  • Work within a monorepo architecture (Turborepo or Nx) to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • API Development and Testing
  • Write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools.
  • Conduct load and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Candidates should have strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and its ecosystem, as well as proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Experience with AI frameworks, API testing, and load testing tools is also desirable.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
