Strategic Marketing Lead for Duolingo English Test

We are seeking an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join our team in India and drive the growth of the Duolingo English Test. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing strategy, partnerships, social media, and event management.

Our test is accepted by over 5,500 higher education institutions worldwide and has been taken by millions of students. We are passionate about educating our users and making fact-based decisions to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute co-marketing plans with prioritized partners across key geographies, leveraging market insights and working closely with India leadership.
- Organize and represent the DET at events, meetups, and conferences to bring students and stakeholders together and drive up awareness of the brand in local markets.
- Work with agency partners to develop marketing collateral, including merchandise, pamphlets, brochures, standees, and social media templates.
- Maintain alignment between partner marketing campaigns and DET's branding, messaging, and guidelines.
- Monitor engagement metrics, user feedback, and community sentiment, adjusting local marketing efforts as needed and preparing regular reports and dashboards to track progress.
- 7-10 years of marketing experience, preferably on the B2B front, with a strong grasp of the education and edtech sector in India.
- Hands-on experience in conceiving, developing, and running marketing and communication ideas throughout the marketing funnel.
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, establishing expectations and rationale on deliverables for stakeholders and contributors.
- Track record of achieving great results with ideas, rather than managing large budgets.
- Experience working as part of a remote team, building strong HQ relationships and influencing effectively for local market needs.
