Backend Development Lead

We seek an experienced Backend Development Lead to drive the design and implementation of scalable, performant server-side applications using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement software solutions using Python with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  2. Lead the integration of front-end components with API endpoints and business logic.
  3. Architect and optimize database performance, caching, and service reliability.
  4. Develop and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure robust software.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
  6. Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
  3. Expertise in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  4. Strong foundation in OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
  5. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, and writing optimized queries.
  6. Proficient with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
  2. Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architecture.
  3. Background in data engineering and machine learning.
  4. Experience working with containers and Infrastructure-as-Code.
