Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Person to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python programming, with hands-on experience in building scalable applications, working with databases and integrating APIs. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test and deploy efficient, scalable Python-based backend services and applications.
  • Write clean, reusable and well-documented code.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and work with RESTful web services.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability and security.
  • Work with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Implement best practices in code quality, testing and documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews, peer programming and team discussions.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
  • Collaborate with DevOps for deployment and CI/CD pipeline setup.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Strong understanding of Python frameworks like Django, Flask or FastAPI.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON and third-party integrations.
  • Proficient in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms like AWS/GCP is a plus.
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
