About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow IT Operations Management expert with extensive experience in discovery, event management, and service mapping. As a certified professional, you will design and implement scalable solutions that bring operational visibility, proactive monitoring, and service reliability to enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Implementations: Oversee the full lifecycle implementation of ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping).
  • Build & Configure: Customize probes, sensors, event rules, service maps, and integrations with third-party monitoring and cloud tools.
  • Deliver Visibility: Establish comprehensive CMDB population and enrichment to ensure accurate infrastructure and service data.
  • Optimize Processes: Recommend and implement best practices for ITOM governance, event correlation, and service impact analysis.
  • Enable Operations: Train IT staff, document technical designs, and perform smooth knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of ServiceNow ITOM experience (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping).
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Discovery (credentials, patterns, probes, sensors).
  • Event Management (alert rules, correlation, integrations).
  • Service Mapping (dependencies, CMDB enrichment).
  • Solid scripting & integration knowledge (JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server).
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure, networking, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices.
  • Mandatory Certification: ServiceNow CIS–ITOM.

Preferred Skills:

  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, CSA).
  • Experience with AIOps, cloud-native observability, and automated remediation.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Familiarity with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and orchestration tools.
