Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.

Your primary focus will be on leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EMR to build and deploy scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration with existing applications.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new infrastructure components to optimizing existing ones. You will also be responsible for monitoring system health and reliability, automating monitoring tools, and implementing high uptime requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud network structure and components
  • Experience with Terraform and GIT as source control
  • Knowledge in AWS Service such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR etc.
  • Strong knowledge in IT security principles, such as Role-based access, Multifactor Authentication, Access Lists, Firewalls, Encryption, Bastion Hosts
  • Experience with Splunk (or equivalent)
  • Linux System administration experience
  • Hands on experience of installing & configuring Windows servers and Linux servers
  • Good to have knowledge on Docker/Kubernetes
  • Good to have CLI scripting skills (Bash)
