Senior Data Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled senior technical leader who wants to drive innovation at our fast-growing organization. You will work on our cloud-based data platform and the connectors that bring in data from various sources we support.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with Java, AWS, Cloud-based APIs, databases, software design, and programming best practices. They will contribute to the core data pipeline that moves terabytes of data from all our customers to their data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to process large datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable data systems.
  • Ensure high-quality data delivery through robust data validation and error handling mechanisms.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software product/platform building with a focus on data engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong expertise in building back-end services and data systems using Java and AWS.
  • Experience with distributed systems, data processing, and machine learning.
  • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
