Backend Developer Opportunity

This is a challenging role for an experienced software developer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a core member of an agile team driving user story analysis, design, and development of responsive web applications.
  • Perform hands-on software development, writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.
  • Manage time and work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years' experience working in Java, demonstrating good knowledge and attitude, communication, willingness to learn, and collaborate.
  • Experience with web fundamentals, HTTP protocol, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and continuous integration and delivery environment.
  • 3-4 years' experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and proven experience building scalable web applications using Java.
