Job Profile: Financial Operations Manager

This critical role oversees and manages financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, and providing strategic insights for decision-making. Strong accounting principles, financial analysis, and communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate to create and manage budgets for projects or operational areas. Monitor budget performance and provide insights for corrective actions.
  • General Accounting: Oversee day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Reconcile records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning. Provide insights on financial performance, cost control, and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring their professional growth and development. Delegate tasks effectively, set goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other relevant laws.
