Job Title: Data Transformation Specialist

As a seasoned professional in data engineering, you will collaborate with our team to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge data pipelines and transformations using dbt. Your expertise in cloud services and SQL skills will enable you to create efficient and accurate data models and transformations.

  1. Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt and cloud service expertise.
  2. Create and manage data models and transformations using dbt for efficient and accurate data consumption.
  3. Develop and maintain a data quality framework, including automated testing and cross-dataset validation.
  4. Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data processing within BigQuery.
  5. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.

Requirements:

Typically requires 8-12 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Proficiency in using dbt for data transformation, testing, and documentation.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data modeling, performance optimization, and querying large datasets.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star schema design.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks.
