Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Tax Manager will be responsible for developing existing client relationships and demonstrating knowledge of the industry.

They will work collaboratively with the client to resolve tax-related issues faced by the client, while keeping up-to-date with relevant industry regulatory changes affecting business operations.

As a technical and knowledge resource to the tax practice, the candidate will assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, including the allocation of projects across the tax team.

They will develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and maintain internal controls, ensuring the team is compliant with client requirements.

The candidate will have good knowledge of CCH or OneSource or Go System and experience in US Federal & State Depreciation Computations.

They will also be responsible for preparing and implementing tax strategies for Direct taxes at the US and International levels.

Additionally, the candidate will prepare tax computations for advance tax payment, State Estimates, and Extensions for Federal/State/local, and Quarterly Provisions.

They will coordinate with the tax advisory firm in the preparation of international tax returns and other compliances.

Finally, the candidate will lead and support the setup of Tax practices to assist with the production of tax deliverables.

They will ensure effective staff development: train, coach, supervise, and appraise the performance of the team, as well as manage and oversee a team of seniors, reviewers, and preparers.
