Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the Rotogravure printing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the operation of MLS (Medium-Line Speed) and ELS (Extra-Line Speed) Rotogravure printing machines during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth production processes while meeting quality standards.
  • Manage and supervise shift schedules, ensuring all shifts are properly staffed and that operations are running efficiently and safely.
  • Be available to work in rotating shifts as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each shift, including machine settings, production metrics, material consumption, and any issues or downtime that may occur during the printing process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in the printing process to minimize downtime and maintain consistent quality.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to resolve technical problems with the printing machinery.
  • Supervise the printing team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members as needed.
  • Perform regular checks on printed materials to ensure they meet company specifications.
  • Taken corrective actions when quality issues arise, including adjusting machine settings or recalibrating the press.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting periodic safety training for the team.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, including data on output, downtime, wastage, and any corrective actions taken.
