Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Specialist

This role involves operating and controlling the flow of sewage through various stages of treatment, including pre-treatment, settling, aeration, sludge dewatering, and digestion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring control panels, adjusting valves and gates, and starting and stopping pumps to regulate the flow of raw sewage.

A key aspect of this position is observing variations in operating conditions and interpreting meter and gauge readings, as well as test results, to determine load requirements.

Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS


•

Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Field

• 5 years' experience in a similar position

• Good communication skills in English and Arabic (a plus)

• Good interpersonal & communication skills
