High-Speed Electrical Validation Engineer Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled High-Speed Electrical Validation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore.

  • This role involves measuring the electrical performance of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, LPDDR4/5, DDR4/5, and Ethernet (10G, 25G).
  • The successful candidate will also perform statistical data analysis to validate performance against specifications.
  • Scripting skills to control test & measurement equipment, thermal controllers, and silicon configurations are required.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for debugging and triaging validation issues.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience with HSIO interface electrical measurements is necessary.

Strong teamwork and independent contribution capabilities are required.

Proficiency with BERTs, VNAs, Oscilloscopes is necessary.

A solid understanding of Signal Integrity fundamentals is required.

Excellent silicon and platform debug skills are necessary.

Experience in hardware control software development is required.

Basic knowledge of LabVIEW or Python scripting is necessary.

Preferred Expertise:

High-speed system design and electrical compliance for protocols is desired.

Understanding of S-parameters and their role in validation is desirable.

Experience with high-speed oscilloscopes and analyzers is preferred.

Willingness to learn new electrical protocols is necessary.

Compliance expertise in at least two protocols: DDR5, LPDDR5x, eDP, HDMI, USB3/4, PCIe is required.
