The ideal candidate will bring expertise in designing, building and scaling intelligent systems leveraging Generative AI (GenAI), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases and cloud-native applications. A deep understanding of the mechanics, ethical considerations and trade-offs involved in deploying AI technologies in production environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design prototype and deploy AI/LLM-enabled applications focusing on modularity scalability and maintainability.
  2. Develop fine-tune RAG pipelines tailored for enterprise or product-based use cases optimizing retrieval relevance accuracy.
  3. Work with unstructured data documents transcripts APIs transforming them into structured knowledge systems using embeddings vector stores and knowledge graphs.
  4. Evaluate select appropriate GenAI tools frameworks and models balancing performance latency cost and data security.
  5. Monitor application behavior refine prompts retrieval logic and context engineering to enhance response quality.
  6. Identify communicate system edge cases risks including hallucination bias prompt injection and model over-reliance.
  7. Stay current with cutting-edge AI research frameworks methodologies assessing their potential for production use.
  8. Collaborate cross-functional teams including product design backend to integrate intelligent features seamlessly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Haves:
  • 3–4 years hands-on experience in AI/ML data engineering or full-stack development with a strong foundation in intelligent system design.
  • Deep understanding of Large Language Models LLMs concepts like embeddings context windows transformers token limits memory strategies.
  • Proven experience implementing RAG pipelines working with vector databases Knowledge Graphs.
  • Familiarity with GenAI frameworks orchestration tools such as LangChain LlamaIndex or similar.
  • Proficiency in Python experience developing backend logic integrating with APIs.
  • Awareness of ethical security concerns in AI including safety fairness responsible deployment.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Exposure to open-source LLMs toolkits e.g. Llama Mistral Claude etc.
  • Experience with evaluation metrics benchmarking human-in-the-loop feedback systems.
  • Familiarity with AI observability logging monitoring best practices.
