Job Title: Contracts Manager

The position of a Contracts Manager involves overseeing construction contracts to ensure they are executed efficiently and effectively.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation from inception to completion for all claim-related matters.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Employer's requirements based on the contract conditions and project schedule.
  • Identify changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost, and notify the employer in a timely manner.

This role requires effective communication and cost management skills. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of standard measurement methods and project commercial management techniques.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing contractual replies or requests to the employer for claim approval.
  • Compiling claim documents and preparing detailed claim statements for submission to DAAB.
  • Presenting claim details to the advocate and taking the next step in dispute resolution.
  • Coordinating with the project team to gather required information and providing input to the HO/RO team.
  • Ensuring claims raised by the project team are substantiated with contract entitlements according to the Conditions of Contract.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
