Job Title

Seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to oversee site execution, ensure quality and safety standards, and coordinate with contractors and laborers.

  • Supervise civil works including excavation, foundation, RCC, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing.
  • Assist in layout and infrastructure execution including roads, drains, water supply, sewage lines, and underground utilities.
  • Ensure proper setting out as per architectural and structural drawings.
  • Monitor daily work progress and coordinate with contractors, skilled workers, and laborers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality checks during all stages of construction.
  • Ensure adherence to technical specifications and standards.
  • Assist in safety implementation at the site and maintain compliance with safety practices.

Coordination & Documentation:

  • Coordinate with MEP teams, vendors, and consultants for service integration.
  • Maintain daily progress reports, checklists, measurement books, and material records.
  • Report issues or deviations to the project manager for timely action.

Resource Management:

  • Track material requirements and issue indent requests in time.
  • Ensure proper usage and storage of materials on-site.
  • Verify delivery and quality of materials at the site.

Preferred Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of civil construction practices, materials, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (architectural, structural, and MEP).
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site documentation.
  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Strong observation and follow-through attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 3 to 4 years in building construction and/or layout development projects.
  • Should have site-level exposure to residential villas, apartments, or plotted developments.

Preferred Exposure:

  • Experience with gated community layouts or clubhouses.
  • Knowledge of BOQ, measurements, and billing process.
  • Awareness of local building codes and authority processes.
