Design Creative Collections for Women's Indian Wear

We are looking for a skilled Designer to join our team and create stunning seasonal Indian wear collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of designs and experience in researching trends, colors, and fabrics.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing new collections, managing sampling, fits, and quality standards, and collaborating with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of global trends and market needs, as well as excellent Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills. You will also need to have a proven track record in women's Indian wear design.

  • Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, colors, and fabrics through subscriptions to trend forecasting services such as WGSN or Stylumia.
  • Collection Development: Conceptualize and design seasonal Indian wear collections that meet market demands and showcase your creativity.
  • Sampling and Quality Control: Manage the sampling process, ensure perfect fits, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams to bring your designs to life and achieve business objectives.
About the Role
  • Graduate Degree: A graduate degree in Fashion Design from a recognized institution (e.g., NIFT, Pearl, or similar) is required.
  • Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential for this role.
  • Experience: A proven track record in women's Indian wear design is necessary for success in this position.
