Public Relations Coordinator

We are seeking an accomplished Public Relations Coordinator to drive the success of our company's brand.

This is a pivotal role that requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of public relations principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute PR Campaigns: Create and implement compelling PR campaigns to promote our brand, build relationships with media professionals, and secure coverage in top-tier publications.
  • Draft and Distribute Press Releases: Craft engaging press releases, newsletters, and media content that showcase our story and highlight our achievements.
  • Collaborate with Media Outlets: Foster strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media professionals to secure feature stories, product placements, and other promotional opportunities.
  • Monitor Media Coverage: Analyze and report on media coverage to measure the effectiveness of our PR efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing events, press conferences, and promotional activities to engage our audience and build brand awareness.
  • Maintain Media Contact Database: Ensure the accuracy and relevance of our media contact database by regularly updating and verifying contact information.
  • Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all communications channels by adhering to our brand guidelines and messaging framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling messages and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Public Relations Expertise: Have a solid understanding of public relations principles, including crisis communications, reputation management, and media relations.
  • Relationship Building: Be able to build and maintain long-term relationships with media professionals, influencers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Digital Literacy: Be proficient in MS Office and social media platforms to leverage digital tools and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media relations to bring expertise to the role.
  • DIGITAL PR TOOLS: Familiarity with digital PR tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Hootsuite) to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
