We are seeking a highly skilled ClickHouse Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.
The role involves troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents within set timeframes, and continuously improving our support processes. You will be the front line for all ClickHouse support tickets, working closely with stakeholders to provide timely updates and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Triage and resolve support tickets for ClickHouse clusters in a timely manner
- Diagnose query performance issues, configuration errors, and hardware faults using technical expertise and knowledge of ClickHouse
- Perform root-cause analysis and document permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences
- Escalate complex issues to administrators or architects when necessary, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Maintain and update support documentation and runbooks to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a database or infrastructure support role, preferably with hands-on experience in ClickHouse
- Excellent technical skills, including SQL tuning and query profiling, Linux troubleshooting, and familiarity with ticketing systems
- Strong customer-service mindset, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with monitoring stacks and scripting languages is an advantage
