We are seeking an accomplished Japanese Translator to join our team. This position involves translating various documents and materials from Japanese to English, requiring a high level of proficiency in both languages.

This is a full-time role that offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong background in linguistics and cultural knowledge.

  • Language Skills:
  • Native-level fluency in Japanese (N2)
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)

In addition to language skills, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with translation software and tools would be an asset.

This job requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and time management are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Translation Services: Translate a variety of documents, including technical, business, and marketing materials, from Japanese to English.
  2. Cultural Awareness: Stay up-to-date on current events, trends, and cultural nuances relevant to the Japanese market.
  3. Quality Control: Review and edit translated content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Working Conditions: This is a remote work opportunity with occasional meetings at our office in Pune. The successful candidate must have reliable internet access and a quiet workspace.
