The Cloud Automation Engineer role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and drive the design, build, and optimization of infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based and hybrid environments.A successful candidate will have expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation, strong experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and hands-on skills in VMware automation, Aria stack, OpenShift, Nutanix, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Key Responsibilities

  • Develop reusable and scalable IaC templates using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
  • Implement VMware automation using Aria stack and enable policy-as-code.
  • Manage OpenShift clusters to support containerized environments.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Integrate automated testing and quality checks for deployments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Deploy and optimize infrastructure on VMware, OCI, and Google Cloud.
  • Enable multi-cloud and hybrid strategies with Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Automate solutions on Nutanix platforms and hyperscaler environments.
  • Implement monitoring, auto-scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Work closely with DevOps, Operations, and Security teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and provide team mentorship.
    • Required Skills & Qualifications
      • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
      • CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions).
      • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
      • Expertise in VMware automation and Aria stack.
      • Experience with Nutanix (AHV, Prism, Calm).
      • Familiarity with Git/GitOps workflows.
        • Preferred Certifications
          • Terraform Associate (HashiCorp).
          • OCI Certified Architect.
          • Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD / OpenShift EX280).
          • VMware Certifications.
          • Nutanix (NCA / NCP-MCI).
