Job Overview

The primary goal of this role is to facilitate the implementation of a robust Governance, Risk and Compliance program within an organisation.

This position will support the review of risk and controls, which entails comprehensive coverage of the risk universe at activity level and assess the adequacy of controls to mitigate operational & technology failures and regulatory noncompliance.

This individual will also participate in the design of registers/templates and workflows in the GRC tool, with a primary objective to provide a unified view of risk across the entity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead risk assessments and profiling for business units and operational activities
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and adapt risk management practices accordingly
  • Ensure policies/processes are designed to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand processes and facilitate documentation of controls
  • Provide oversight and challenge business units on risk management practices
  • Carry out risk aggregation exercises to provide a unified view of risk
  • Promote the use of advanced technologies and data analytics in risk management
  • Act as a key point of contact for risk-related matters pertaining to business and operations
