Job Title: Senior Manager – Project Finance (Solar Projects)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Manager to lead our project finance activities for solar projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial structuring, project evaluation, and fundraising.

  • Project Financing: Lead project financing activities for solar projects, including Open Access, Rooftop, and Utility-scale.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and evaluate detailed financial models, including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Debt Raising: Manage end-to-end debt raising process, from preparing DPRs and loan applications to negotiations and disbursement.
  • Liaison with Financial Institutions: Liaise with banks, NBFCs, investors, and credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
  • Negotiation: Review and negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and financial covenants.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules for ongoing projects.
  • Innovative Financing Structures: Identify innovative financing structures such as leasing, hybrid, or green bonds to optimize project returns.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Finance Background: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / equivalent with strong financial background.
  • Experience: Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy / power / infrastructure sector.
  • Track Record: Proven track record in debt raising, project financing, and financial closures.
  • Expertise: Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
