Branch Operations Manager Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Branch Operations Manager to spearhead our branch operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams and ensuring seamless execution of all branch activities. Key responsibilities include authorizing transactions, maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks, and upholding high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and guide a team of experienced operations staff to guarantee the smooth functioning of the branch.
  • Transaction Authorization: Verify and authenticate all transactions processed by operations staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to banking regulations, quality standards, and audit requirements. Maintain awareness of RBI guidelines and implement relevant updates.
  • Custody & Inventory Management: Safeguard all stationery, account kits, cheque books, and forms. Regularly update inventory records and maintain accurate registers.
  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Foster cross-selling opportunities for savings and investment products, aligning with branch objectives. Deliver exceptional customer experiences, fostering long-term relationships.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in managing branch operations and leading teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, quality frameworks, and audit requirements.
  • Expertise in KYC, AML, and other relevant banking regulations.
  • Highly developed analytical skills for transaction authorization.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Experience in cross-selling financial products.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
