Internal Audit Leader

About the Role

This leadership position is responsible for driving innovation in audit solutions, managing complex financial tasks, and analyzing core business processes. It requires strong governance and compliance expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic solutions to address business challenges and enhance financial performance.
  • Plan, organize, and manage complex financial situations across units, ensuring effective decision-making.
  • Analyze business processes to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights.
  • Prepare monthly closing reports, profitability statements, and MIS reports with detailed variance analysis, enhancing visibility into organizational performance.
  • Create and monitor budgets and forecasts; analyze variances and provide recommendations for future growth.
  • Lead the internal audit department, implementing efficient audit tools and procedures to drive process improvements.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, accounting standards, and local regulations, maintaining a culture of integrity and ethics.
  • Identify cost control areas and develop effective strategies to reduce costs and prevent revenue leakages, optimizing resource allocation.

Qualifications

CA or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration required. Minimum 20 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance.
