Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing programming support to the statistics and programming department across a range of projects, clients, and therapeutic areas.
The ideal candidate will have excellent SAS and SQL programming skills with the ability to implement complex logic, as well as experience working with large databases and generating reports to enable analysts to explore real-world healthcare data assets.
- Candidates must be comfortable creating complex analysis datasets derived from various data sources with a careful eye for outliers and errors.
- Experience building patient cohorts and evaluating patient healthcare events in large databases and using observational research methods such as epidemiology and statistical methods is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
The study programmer is responsible for manipulating large databases and generating reports to enable analysts to explore real-world healthcare data assets.
The job requires proficiency in R and SQL programming, expertise in oncology databases, and a good understanding of oncology-specific analyses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other subject with high statistical content
- Minimum 7-8 years SAS statistical programming experience
- Database programming using SQL
- Experience with advanced statistical methods such as survival and regression
- Experience with real-world healthcare claims and EHR data
