Job Summary

The Senior Manager-Infra/Cloud Architect oversees the development and implementation of a robust global IT infrastructure and cloud landscape. This role involves strategic planning, engineering governance, and technical delivery across data center technologies, cloud platforms, networking, security, and hybrid infrastructure models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Global Infrastructure Blueprint: Develop and maintain a comprehensive global infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint that aligns with business continuity, scalability, cybersecurity, and performance goals.
  • Align Designs with Business Goals: Champion platform rationalization and simplification initiatives to ensure designs meet business requirements.
  • Architect Large Program Solutions: Design infrastructure solutions for large programs, including DC transformation, AD consolidation, and hybrid cloud migration.
  • Review and Approve Architecture Plans: Review and approve high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), and bills of materials (BoM) submitted by partners or internal teams.
  • Validate Architecture Compliance: Verify that architecture compliance is met in global IT programs.
  • Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Assess emerging technologies such as Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, Edge Computing, and Infra-as-Code.
  • Own and Enforce Architecture Principles: Define, own, and enforce architecture principles, standards, and reference models.
  • Conduct Architecture Reviews: Conduct regular architecture reviews and design approval boards to ensure compliance with InfoSec, GxP, and SOX frameworks.
  • Translate Designs into Builds: Partner with delivery, cybersecurity, and service teams to translate designs into build/run.
